Unfortunately, this business had to close in early 2022, but here's their story.
The client approched us, after Googling for a local WordPress expert in Sussex, and told us all about their new busines venture they were wanting to start, but didn't have much understanding of how to get started online.
We'd done plenty of eCommerce websites before, but never an online booking system, so were keen to help and, not only gain some experience ourselves, but also kick-start what we belived was a great idea for a new business in the local area. We also loved VW Campervans (new and old)!
We quickly set about building out the main store layout and functionality along side the client to fully understand exactly how they wanted it to function all year round with different booking seasons, school holidays, etc. It got pretty complicated very quickly and we worked closely with the Booking plugin developers to enable some custom coding to be setup on the site for the client.
The best bit about not only launching an amazing site, has also been seeing the client very quickly grasp the WordPress environment and learn how to achieve and understand some complexed setup challenges. We love empowering new businesses owners to be able to grow their own business.
